So mummy and daddy bunny tell Miffy that a new baby is coming, but mummy doesn't have a 'bump', she doesn't look any different to usual. Miffy spends the rest of the time preparing by drawing pictures or making wooly toys which is cute but there isn't the sort of questions a young child might have about a new baby in the family.
The story ends just after the new baby comes (super, a home birth!) but Miffy bakes some cakes to share with friends and the story doesn't explore baby bathing, feeding, sleeping, playing etc.
My daughter really loves Miffy but this book doesn't really give any substantial impression of what her new baby sibling might entail.
