Although this vacuum cleaner is the bottom of the Miele range it is still excellent. It is a larger size model which means that the supplied tools can be stored inside the vacuum cleaner, as opposed to some of the newer more compact models where tools have to be stored on the outside. The main factor of course is a quality of vacuuming and the suction. On the minimum setting of 300 W the suction of this cleaner is on par with our existing generic cheap vacuum cleaner but much quieter. On the maximum setting you virtually have to pull the head of the vacuum cleaner off the carpet to vacuum. The build quality is clearly excellent, so many years of use are expected, and the investment in a Miele compared to other cheapo models is certainly justified.

I agree with everything the previous reviewer says. This is the cheapest model in the Miele range but a major purchase on my tight budget. My decision to buy was influenced by Which? awarding it a 'Best Buy' and I'm so glad I did. It's a powerful, hardworking cleaner with accessible on-board tools, easy fit dustbags, outstanding suction and cleaning power and it's fairly quiet too. I needed to contact Miele as the spare dustbag was missing from the box and they were really helpful, sending me a replacement pack within 2 days. It's not the most attractive cleaner but feels very solid and built to last. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED *****

I opted for this Miele budget version due to price. The suction is great, but vacuum does not collect long hair. As I am short, the long unadjustable handle can be an annoyance when having to remove vaccum head to collect long hair. Overall, I am happy with this product
