This review is from: Arcade Party Pak (PS) (Video Game)
As an old-school arcade gamer, the sight of Rampage and Smash TV made me think back to endless family holidays, wedging another 2p piece into the 10 franc slot of the local arcade emporium on a French campsite.

Cheap arcade nostalgia aside, Arcade Party Pak brings together the best and/or most memorable games of Atari's heyday.

Rampage- the classic monster bashing game, plays sluggishly and loses a little in the days of 3D madness and polygon graphics.

Toobin- somehow, I remember this being a lot more fun first time round. Still playable but not addictive.

Smash TV- The best of the bunch. Mindless violence, innovative controls, perfect conversion.

Klax- As puzzle games go, not a bad one- it's aged like Tetris, i.e. not much.

720- great boarding game in its time, now that Tony Hawks is around it might not hold your attention too long.

Super Sprint- fun for 10 minutes, but as above- Gran Turismo anyone?

All in all, a damn fine trip down memory lane, but it looks like most of the houses have fallen into decline. There are better and bigger roads to travel, but a good few started here.
