Oh my 13 Nov 2010
Format:DVD
Just when you think they have done it all. I can't be objective when it comes to Midsomer Murders. I love the cast and the plots. We absolutely do not have any program in the USA that is as great as this. I will be very sorry to see John Nettles go. I will continue to order as long as you keep the program going. Thanks Amazon for making my ordering experience pleasant. In a day and age when nobody gets anything right you are doing an outstanding job.

A fabulous pianist is holding a master class and Joyce Barnaby is helping out, looking after the students, etc. Some of the students get up to more than tickling the ivories and there are a couple of dodgy sisters on hand to ramp up the Gothic atmosphere. Will Joyce get out alive? Will Jones decide to quit and return to sunny Wales? The answers to these and other questions can be found here.

A Dark Delight 4 Dec 2010
Format:DVD
Talented piano student Zoe Stock has won a place at the Devington winter school taught by celebrated pianist Sir Michael Fielding. By the river in the grounds of the manor she sees a woman abandon a baby on the banks and jump in. Zoe tries to help but the current is too strong. The woman drowns and her body vanishes.

With no body and no baby, just gut instinct, DCI Barnaby is convinced Zoe saw something. His suspicions are confirmed when a hooded figure tries to kill Zoe at a nearby abbey. Soon after, Barnaby does have very real dead bodies as he struggles to solve what will become the most disturbing case of his career, and prevent others falling victim to the killer.

This episode was astonishingly good. The series seemed to have ran out of steam lately, after serveral disappointing episode. Then this one comes along and proves the show still has it! The ending packs a real punch and may shock you a bit.

Enjoy it, episodes this great are rare these days.
