There still seems plenty of confusion over what midsomer sets have included, so hope this helps.
Fit for Murder being the last one staring John Nettles as inspector Barnaby, it show's him retire to a peacful life with his family while his cousin takes on his work as the new inspector Barnaby. it was nice that we were introduced to the cousin in the second film of this series. A likable charactor who is re-introduced in the last film of this series. i was so pleased that Ben Jones will still continue. i have enjoyed every episode from start to finish throughout the whole complete sets 1-13

I bought here on Amazon this DVD collection of superb entertainment at a very good discount price, my wife whos into crime and murder (shes Austrian) sat through the first three episodes back to back with just a cup of tea and a sandwich.. and a toilet break inbetween.
Pity John Nettles gave up the job as Barnaby the detective as he brilliantly underplays the part, yet acts everyone else off the screen.
I know its a short review but the wifes just put disc two into the player and I dont want to miss a minute of it either..

I got this for my birthday and I can honestly say it was one of the best presents I could ever get. I have loved the series from day one and savoured every single episode, even the most far-fetched ones. The characterization of the English countryside is superb and the psychology of the characters utterly convincing. Although set in the present, the series is actually timeless and wonderfully evocative of good, old-fashioned writers such as Christie, PD James etc. And what to say of John Nettles? He is Midsomer Murders, such a shame he had to leave...I hope he realises how missed he will be!

Barnaby season 13
I love John Nettles as Barnaby and so of course enjoyed this product. It was disappointing that the DVD was not HD and that no subtitles are available. Read more

No subtitles - no fun for the hard of hearing
I love all Midsomer Murders series, no exceptions here. What really annoys me though is that the producers of this DVD box see no reason in providing (english) subtitles. Read more

great way to spend an evening
Midsommer Murders is great british TV. This is the complete boxset of season 13 in a double with DVD case. Well worth watching.
