Very enjoyable mysteries. Good characters.Like the locations as is my part of the world, when I have been in the UK. Am slowly making my way through the series. Some I have watched before but all part of my weekly fix of a taste of Oxfords/Bucks and nice easy viewing.

another set of mad murderers having fun keeping the population down. Clearly the scriptwriters have only a passing knowledge of rural matters, and often only a passing knowledge of real life, but who cares? I don't take it seriously, and don't want to. Any police officer with so many deaths would never keep his job- again who cares?

If you like Midsomer Murders then obviously you're going to enjoy the dvds of the series.
It is a bit confusing to ensure the box set being bought is the the series box set, as there's various others.. a "Troy" box set etc. So do watch that if, like me, you're collecting all the series made so far.
Not sure if it's the dvds or my TV, but some of the episodes were a little too dark.
The extras on the dvds are naff in my opinion, but then I don't buy the episodes sets for the special features, so it's of no matter to me.

Series eight very good viewing and entertaining.
This is another good series, was well acted and very entertaining. The more you watch Midsomer murders, the better you understand the actors.

Love the series, the discs arrived well packed and they were delivered as stated. I love trying to work out who did it and John Nettles is brilliant.
