A Dark twisted Tale, 22 Feb 2006
This review is from: Midnight Cab (Paperback)
This is a excellent book. A dark twisted tale, as well as an everyday story. Walker the main character, is superb you really connect with him, and his tragic beginning in life. There is a slow burning love story, not boring though (even from a male point of view), but together with the inserts of the Bobby character, a dark twisted character, and Walker trying to find the truth as to why he was abandoned, this is a rivoting read.
This story slowly unwinds, keeping you guessing and trying to fit the pieces together.
It reminded me in the dark parts of Wasp Factory - Iain Banks
I look forward to his next novel.

Very exciting read, 10 Aug 2005

This is a marvellous book and I just couldn't put it down. The two main characters - Walker and Krista - are wonderful and their growning relationship is subtly and skilfully drawn. The laying out of the mystery and the racking up of the tension is very well done indeed, and the ending is a great twist. The flashback chapters to Bobby are very violent but also very well done. I thoroughly recommend this book and look forward very much to the author's next - soon please!

I haven't a book this good for a very very long time. Please read it and then tell as many of your fiends as humanly possible.
