My Godson wasn't feeling well and needed a warming friend to comfort him in bed, and little "elly" seemed the perfect option.
He (or she) is a cuddly 10 inches (top to toe) of soft plush fur and stuffing.
During the summer Elly provided a cool comforting friend, but with only the slightest fragrance of lavender.
Lavender is known for its soothing and calmative effects; it also aids sleeping, so can be a great help when the little one in your life can't get to sleep.
Now that it's turning cold, Elly is coming into his own again, this time replacing the need for a hot water bottle.
You simply microwave Elly for 2 minutes to heat him up (I would advice not letting a little one see their precious friend being zapped for a couple of minutes as it could upset them). Once he's been heated the lavender aroma becomes a little more noticeable.
There is no need to worry about your "cozy" elephant getting dirty, because as soon as he becomes a little grubby you can give him a rub down with a damp cloth.
From my experience this lovely little elephant (hot or cold) makes a faithful friend for little ones, and would make a great pal for older people.
