bright, and colorful images that are always in focus.
It is a plug-and-play business tool that connects to any video output-capable device, including laptops, iPads, iPhones, iPods and iPads. It is a sleek, slim pocket-able projector that allows users to view or share movies, TV shows, YouTube, World Cup clips, music, photographs, podcasts and presentations - whenever, wherever.
The patented display engine requires no projection lenses or focus adjustment. As a result, SHOWWX images are always in focus, regardless of projection distance, producing widescreen images as small as 6 inches to as large as 100 inches across.
You can connect any host device with a TV-Out or VGA connection. This includes a variety of mobile media players laptops, cell phones and video/digital cameras. The SHOWWX even has a stereo jack for ear buds or external speakers.

Great product, really pleased I bought it! So easy to use, with no fuss. And,it doesn't get too hot, so when you've finished the 'show' just pops into your jacket pocket. Worth buying the VGA docking unit for laptops.
The Week after I bought one, the FT covered it:
...Well the ShowWX pretty much trounces everything I've seen so far. It's brighter, more watchable(if not actually HD) and easier to connect than the competition. The projector, as the name suggests, a laser device and so doesn't need focusing. Weighing just 122gms, it shows really good images (some distortion at the edges, but nothing to worry about) from 15cm or so to 2.5m or more across.
A charge gives you 90 to 120 minutes of projecting, which means you can go portable and bore viewers of your presentation practically to death. Sensibly, this gadget doesn't attempt to produce out-loud sound, which has been the weak point of other products.
The ShowWX has been quite a hit in the US since it won a MacWorld 2010 Best of Show award, and if you're sceptical, look on YouTube for demo videos.....
And they are correct.

Amazon Verified Purchase
My purpose was to use it for watching movies projected on the wall of my hotel or apartment rooms when I am traveling. Results exceed my expectations. You need a dark room, but then even if the wall is not optimal (not purely white and not smooth), it is still a fantastic movie-like experience watching Star Wars, so I guess that it would be even better on a real white screen. Please note that the display computer screens (Desktop, Excel screens) is not as convincing.
Connection with my laptop using the VGA connector is real plug and play, except that if you turn off the computer with Sowwx still connected, the screen definition on your laptop screen will change (and you need to reset it). So always first remove Showwx before turning off your computer.
You cannot use Showwx on power or USB, it is always on the integrated battery. You can recharge the battery with the USB, but only when Sowwx is not working. Microvision confirms that we can purchase cheap spare batteries (although not on sale at Amazon).
Let us see how long it will keep on working, but in term of quality/size and weight ration, it is surely an amazing achievement. If you just like watching movies in the dark, you can forget buying a big flat TV.

This product is unbelievably good and will prove itself to the next big advancement in tech. This will do for the iPhone what touch screen technology did for the mobile phone industry. Such a powerful projector coming from such a small package. However you will need a pitch black room to view a 120inch image with good visibility. However it all adds to the atmosphere. fantastic fast and professional service. 5 out of 5!!!!

Incorrect Technical Specification on Amazon site
The supplier has just confirmed to me that this device is not compatible with IPAD even though it says this on this page.
