This is a great bit of equipment, with good sound quality and you hardly notice it when on your head as it is so light and comftable. You can use the headset with xbox live and is a must have, you can now also use it with Rainbow Six 3 to control your men, making in game controls much easier and quicker.

As this is the offical headset, its the only one that comes with the communicator - the part that u plug into the microphone. but apart from that, its not that gr8. One of the main problebs is that its easily breakble. The best thing to do is clip the ear peice to your prefered side of the head band and then use (lots of) tape to hold it firmly in place so its well protected. I did this with my new one and so far its suvived.now that theirs some decent 3rd party headsets out their, Id think about buying them instead.

If you were stupid enough to buy Rainbow Six 3 without the headset, or were given it as a present (like me), then this is exactly what you need. This piece of kit makes the game a million times more realistic, and really increases the playability, by allowing you to talk directly to Price, Loiselle and Weber directly! The voice recognition is very good, although some words have to be repeated, but you will get the hang of it pretty quickly.Of course, the headset is compatible with Xbox live, in case your original one is broken or lost. All in all, essential for Rainbow Six 3. The only words left to say are "Demo up!" and "Open, flash and clear!"
