After a bit of research I chose these in different colours for my sons netbooks. they've got tactile non-slip rubber coated sides, they are a good size, the blue-track works off a trouser leg, the nano receiver is tiny and has good range. The mouse and receiver are paired so you can even use two of them sitting next to each other without interference. After one month the batteries are still good, but we turn the mouse off when its not in use. Over all I'm very happy with it, probably the best mouse I've ever used!

Has the bad habit of "jumping" sometimes from here to there. The surface I am using is a common wooden table - I have used 3 other mice (of 3 different brands) on it without any problem.

Only for those with tiny hands
