Great book, passed 1st time. Granted I knew a lot of it anyway, but as with Microsoft they seem to put unnecessary topics/item in their exams.

This booked covered it all, very easy to read and great everyday working examples.

All You Will Need for the MTA: Windows OS Exam 30 Mar. 2014
By Evan Dingman - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
This was the only book I used to study for and pass the MTA: Windows OS exam. As with all the other books in the Essentials series, you can expect a very high quality, full color book with glossy white pages and solid binding. Also, all exam topics were thoroughly covered and at no point during the exam did I feel surprised or unprepared. If your goal is to pass the MTA: Windows OS exam then this is all you will need.

Useful 27 Dec. 2013
By Murcielago - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
The book contains many tips and tricks that people with years of experience may not know.
Read the entire book and got a 93 on the exam. This book and the Certipoint study guide are all you need.
Was able to read the book through the library web application with my University. Many employers also have the same application, should check into it.

Used only this to study for exam - passed 25 Mar. 2014
By Travis Bowlby - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback Verified Purchase
Some were hesitant on using this book as your only study guide. If you have any reasonable amount of experience using Windows 7 and you read this entire book, there's a good chance you will be fully prepared for the exam (at least to get a passing grade). There are sections in here that aren't necessary, but still interesting in at least some sense.

Awesome book for getting in depth with Windows Operating Systems! 6 Nov. 2013
By ATigerseye - Published on Amazon.com

I needed this for my college course. It came quickly and was exactly what I needed. I had planned on selling it back to the college at the end of the quarter, but it has so much great information in it that I am going to keep it for future reference!
