I bought this book because of the "Cookbook" title, thinking that it will be as good (or at least close) to other "cookbook"-style books (usually by O Reilly). I was disappointed to find that although not badly written, it is seriously lacking in content and contains errors. Topics are poorly chosen, examples trivial and indicate that the autor(s) did not know the subject too well and simply cut and pasted from online docs.

easy to read - lots of great examples..

This book reminds me of teaching a child to walk, to run, to ride a bike, drive a car, and then operate a tank. The text is easy to follow, and there is lots of great reinforcement with examples. MSVC# .NET is a powerful language, and this book helps you make use of everything it has to offer. It's a book that everyone can learn from and use as a reference; from the inexperienced software developer to the experienced software developer.
