A standard interface is provided with J++ providing familiarity to new users. It is very easy to get to grips with the way this program works and start producing windowed applications and console programs. Included is a very concise and easy to use help file which provides relevant. An advantage to C++ user is that J++ contains scarily similar syntax. In fact the syntax for looping constructs are identical. Microsoft has also made setting up new projects and maintaining them very easy with and file manager style system that automatically updates itself and relevant files. The only complaints about this program is that it is sometimes quite pedantic for want of a better word because sometimes it throws up errors for code which is logical and has good syntax. Sometimes cutting and pasting the identical code will work make it compile! Overall though, a very easy to use editor and compiler and ideal for someone new to visual programming to start with.
