4.0 out of 5 stars Good book 19 Aug 2012
Format:Paperback
So far, there are only a few books which talk about performance. This is one of the best books I've read. These recipes are used immediately when there are issues with the sql server. The book has pictures along with the steps. Even a novice can easily pick up.

The title says sql 2012. But, most of it applies to SQL 2005/2008. It doesn't discuss the internals of any topic which most of the people may not require. The author does the job nicely.

3.0 out of 5 stars Book has a lot of useful tidbits but is written in pseudo-English 22 Aug 2012
By M. Goldshteyn - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
I have skimmed through the book using Amazon's "Search inside" feature. There are many useful tips, but reading is made difficult by the fact that the English grammar used throughout the book is often improper. It is clear that not enough editing went into the book or perhaps the author's use of English was so horrid that the editor(s) gave up at some point and "let it ride."
