Microsoft Project 2007 The Missing Manual is a good step by step guide to Project Management, useful for anyone involved with managing projects and also for those who are new to the project environment and require a practical guide, this book also covers key elements such as change management, issues and risks. A very easy to understand and a worthwhile read with the additional benefit of learning how to use MS Project 2007 to its full capability for planning your project from start to finish.

I've been given a work reason to really understand and use MS Project.... previously I've only reviewed project plans, and played with them. I read the reviews of the books on Amazon - all the usual (yellow and black covers etc) and was wondering what to do. I clicked buy on this one. It was the best decision of the week. It is fantastic, closing on 700 pages of both how to use MS Project, but most importantly "why" you would use the various features :) :) (big smiles)!!
This is the first book of this kind I have ever found that explains WHY the features in these apps are there, and what they can achieve for you in (in this case) reporting on and managing the project. It is not like many others that just say "to start a new file click File and New"
Looks to be a fantastic buy... and I have only got to page 20.
Thank you Amazon
