Microsoft Money (PC)
I upgraded to this version of Microsoft Money after using an earlier version for 5 years. The upgrade automatically transferred all my existing information into the new programme and I was up a running within minutes. It took a little while to get used to the new set up but I was pleased with the results.
Problems started a couple of months later (I only used the programme about once a week) when I started to experience problems switching to other programmes and in shutting down Money. In the past two months, I have had 5 bluescreen error messages stating that a driver should be disabled. A review of the error messages on the internet seem to suggest that although this was a known error Microsoft were not helpful in resolving the issue suggesting that it was a hardware problem that was equally dismissed by Dell. One suggestion by a user was to run a compatibility check, which I did. This resulted in a reversion to 8bit colour on all my programs. Within a week the bluescreen error appeared twice more.
Three weeks ago, I uninstalled Microsoft Money. There have been no further bluescreen errors.

Have been using Microsoft Money for some time now and can definitely say it has helped enormously with organisng my outgoings/income.Very easy to set up and use.Particularly like the facility to download statement information from my on line bank account which then automatically installs this information. Also like the "Balnce this account" facility which I use each time my bank statement arrives. Can be used to set up multiple accounts of your choice including savings accounts etc and allows you to keep your finger on the pulse with your finances.Have not experienced any "Blue Screen" problems in the considerable time that I have used this programme.Have used on Windows XP/Vista/Windows 7 also compatible with Windows 98 2nd Edition/Windows 2000 SP3 or later/Windows ME/XP or higher - Highly recommended!
