I have been using headsets to play FPS games on Xbox for a few years.
I have moved to these from a of wired Sharkoon Xtatic Dolby 'true' 5.1 surround sound headset, after getting sick of the wires breaking & headset playing up.
I was a little wary of these after purchasing as they are advertised as 7.1 surround. However, they are not TRUE 7.1 surround headsets. They are simulated 7.1 which means each cup has only one speaker and the 7.1 surrpound element is simulated electronically rather than multiple speakers to simulate the surround sound, such as my true 5.1's had.
However that said, the surround sound does work very well (they did surprise me), and the 3 preset EQ's work nicely without having to set each front/rear/center etc speaker up. The sound quality is superb for gaming. A lot better than my previous headset.
The wireless is great. they feel good to wear - They are not too heavy. They squeeze your head a bit to begin with, but that eases after a few days.
The dual batterys are a brilliant idea. Once charged the rotation of the batterys is easy, and once the one your using goes flat, the other one is charged, so your never without a full battery.
One thing I find is that sometimes if I take them off mid game for a break, I catch the EQ button which switches the sound off on the headset. Not a major issue, but confused me a little the first few times. A sipmle press of the button to switch back on is all it takes.
In game voice chat is clear, and the SVM works nicely, however I still tend to end up talking loudly/shouting sometimes.
All in all a great headset.
