Our school has just upgraded to Exchange Server 2010. Unable to afford the time and expense for training courses for our technicians, reference books are quite important. This book is easy to dip into, to address areas as a first port of call or when you become stuck or unsure of the way ahead. It quickly helps solve many queries and problems and can provide a springboard for any further research, if necessary. I found this a very useful and helpful book.

I had assumed that this book was a cookbook in nature, I need to do this procedure - look it up and execute the steps in order. But it really was a lot more. It does an excellent job of explaining the concepts in a concise accurate manner. There is an impressive amount of content in this book as well. I was happily deceived by its size. But if you want a book that quickly explains what you need to do with Exchange 2010, this is a great option. I have the Unleashed book, and I find myself using this book quite a lot more.

William Stanek is the top authority for all things Microsoft for a reason. He is well known for his detailed and clear explanations. He knows more than any dozen other so-called experts and he's not afraid to share every last bit of knowledge he has about any topic he writes about. Exchange Server 2010 Adminstrators Pocket Consultant isn't meant to be an allinone book but in this book's 700 pages I learned everything I wanted to know about Exchange Server 2010 and then some.
Good for anyone working in tech from dev to IT admin. Definitely worth the money and then some too.

This is an excellent handy little resource about how to use and administer MS Exchange. It's full of useful information on topics such as Hub Transport roles, system requirements, adding users, backups, and security. I highly recommend it.
