This is a really good quick reference guide to Outlook. unless you need advanced features this will make using Outlook very easy. Each step is well described.

I like this series of books.

This was bought in the marketplace - really cheaply - so thanks for that. It is informative and helped me out of a hole whilst trying to tame it. Its good to dip in and out of from time to time - at least until you become an expert in its usage.

Before confirming an order check from where the product is being sourced. I do not know what this procuct will be like, I ordered it over 6 weeks ago and it is still on the high seas from the USA. When I finally discovered this I bought the same product elsewhere and had it in 24 hours. Lesson learned and in future I will be very sceptical about purchases from Amazon.

I had office 2002 and then 2007, with many changes as well as many improvements I felt knew what I wanted to do but didn't know where to find it. This book is easy to read so I could move on quickly.

don't waste your money 29 Aug. 2008

I have only found it useful once so far. If you like reading and want to read the book, it's great, but if you just need quick reference to do something specific, it's a waste. Office 2007 is very different from 2003 version in that they've moved things around to different areas, so I know the old commands, I just can't find them in 2007. I thought the book would help with that, but it doesn't.
Poorly indexed, can't find anything in it!! 15 Feb. 2011
By P. L. miller - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
My biggest problem with this book is the inability to find anything in it. The index in the back is particularly useless. For example: I am just learning to use Outlook, so often I need to look up how to do a particular thing, like examine the schedules of my coworkers so I can schedule a meeting. Neither the table of contents nor the index helps me find the section on the book that deals with that. As another reviewer stated, if you want to read the whole book and learn where everything is, great. But if you want to pick it up for a quick reference on how to do a particular function, choose another book.

I bought the "Windows 7 Plain and Simple" and like it. This is in the same format and style. Excellent.
