This is THE best travel adapter that I have owned over the past 13 years or so of international travelling, and I've had a few...
In a nutshell;
- I've used it in many European countries, and across the USA without an issue.
- The USB socket allows you to charge any item that usually has it's own USB charging power adapter (you just need to pack the appropriate cables instead of the bulky adapters).
- I've used it to charge my iPod Touch and Blackberry without issue. The internal electronics that provide the USB power automatically adjusts to accept all mains voltages (110 - 250VAC, 50/60Hz).
- The different parts pack nicely together into one of the tidiest and smallest profiles I've seen.
- There are two lights/indicators; Indicating the presence of AC power and when USB power is being drawn from the USB socket(eg, it goes out once the iPod finishes charging).
- Each section is fused (250VAC, 3A).
- Complete with pouch for storage.
- Delivery was also fast (using standard shipping).

This is a fab little unit, that is cleverly designed. Worked like a charm when I tested it with a couple of electrical items that myself and girlfriend are to be taken with us abroad (i.e hair straighteners, iPod & Kindle). One thing to be aware of is the fact that the plug is fitted with 3 amp fuse so anything above that will blow it. To try this out I plugged in my gf's hairdryer (which has a 13amp plug) and sure enough, soon as I turned on the heat the fuse popped. Comes with spare fuse (20mmx5mm 3 amp fuse, the spare being stored in the 'English' section of the plug i.e the fuse you can see when using it at home). Be aware, standard plug fuses wont fit (such as those from major DIY stores) & are only really readily available on the net. I've ordered some replacement 3 amps ( Quick Blow Glass Fuse 3.15A 20mm x 5mm 3.15 Amp x 5 Pack ) also a 13 amp to try it for larger items in future. As long as you bear in mind the ampage of the equipment you're plugging in, then this is a clever, well-designed adaptor that should really do the business for years to come.

This item is a fantastic companion for people who travel from country to country. It can take just about any country's plug and convert to any other country (JUST THE PLUG NOT THE VOLTAGE).
The only con I have about this item is that the led lights are a bit too bright. I've put several strips of masking tape just to dim it and it's still a bit bright.

Not as sturdy as to be expected
