Full colour webcam, unlike my webcam built in my laptop screen which does not pick up light and is black and white, which is why I bought this one. great if you are in a dark area as the lights have a brightness adjuster and you can focous onto things further away too. would highly recommend.

I wish there had been even a note in the box to say " Switch on top if pressed repeatedly changes the picture hue, Inline Roller switch turns on/off the lights"
Haven't found a way to make it work independantly of a comms prog ( IE Skype etc).
Apart from this seems OK for the money it costs, certainly the delivery was swift (48 hrs).
Update;
Saif from Micropix made swift contact to say it does NOT work independantly of comms progs.

Very good customer service

Intermittent faults - probably bad connection
This is a poor product even though it's cheap. No instructions. And an immediate intermittent fault probably caused by a loose connection inside. Camera goes on and off.

This webcam is really good once you figure out how to work it. The only problem was when setting up because there was not instructions!!!But it is best if you are on skype. Read more

the thing worked ok, not bad for the price, don't expect HD. Couldn't get it work on an old XP machine, it worked fine on windows 7.
