A short simple review... breathtaking, inspirational, uplifting, emotive, spiritual... these are all words that could and should be used to describe Mircogravity. It sounds and feels like an early work by Jenssen, but this just adds to it's beauty, alternating between open soundscapes and bouncing, pumping beats. Although an early work, the whole thing feels very accomplished, and very smooth, tracks and samples gliding into each other. Many of the motifs and characteristics sounds of later works such as Substrata and Cirque are just beginning to form here, and are a joy to listen to in an unrefined state. An excellent, chilling and happy work, much less emotionally demanding to listen to than Substrata or Cirque, but by no means 'easy listening.' Recommended.
For some reason always makes me think of fantasy anime...

Mixing ambient textures with driving beats, techno rhythms and swirling atmospherics, Jennsen creates a beautiful album. This is the early part of his career before he decided to dispense with the beats and concentrate on total ambient music. If you're unsure of buying a completely ambient album then get this first, but trust me all of his albums, beats or not, are brilliant.
Deleted in many countries, get it now while you can.

I love this album. It was a permanent fixture on the stereo throughout the 'high' life of my university years and I still listen to it often whilst sitting at my desk.

Just try and find a better ambient techno tune than Cloudwalker II. You can't ... oh you think you have? ... you're wrong.

For some reason i never got around to buying this cd untill last year! And i think it will forever remind me of christmas and the snow that came with it.you can dance to this if you wanted to, do the housework or simply chill to it, more beats than the new stuff so more in the vain of "patashnik" which is a fantastic album in its own right.Id say if you liked"underworlds- dubnobasswithmyheadman"or speedy Js-ginger cds or early warp AI series stuff then you are bound to be a fan! quite simply a classic! dont delay buy today! just like i did bit late but still enjoyed the spacey vibes!

Biosphere 'sophistication is second to none. This work is not only inspiring, but also exciting. Put simply it is a masterpiece of great beauty and delights the soul.
