Unfortunately I left the battery - casio - which came with the camera in the camera.
and when I went to use it I found that it was fully discharged and would not charge up again.
There was nothing wrong with the charger as my daughter has the same type of battery and that was charging ok
I was a bit miffed to find that the casio replacement would cost me a fortune so I thought I'd risk this one.
hey presto!
it works beautifully.
I didn't even have to charge it when it arrived I put it straight in and away I went with it
Great buy.
boo to you Mr Casio for overcharging.

The battery was too short for the charger and I needed to wedge a piece of paper in one end of it, in the same manner that another reviewer had to do. The battery once charged was ok and I suppose for the price you have to say it was an adequate buy.

I wasn't to impressed with this battery. It isn't quite the same size as the Casio original, it's about a millimetre shorter than the original. As a consequence of this it doesn't sit properly in the Casio battery charger,you have to wedge something between the back of the battery and the charger to get the contacts together. Also being to short it doesn't really sit properly in the camera either.
The battery doesn't appear to hold much charge for very long after being charged either. This may be a fault with the battery or a failure of the battery to make proper contact with points in the charger and/or camera.
I wouldn't recommend this battery as a replacement for the Casio original.
