This is a good product although the design and ergonomics of the item could have done with a little consideration. Such as
*1... The connector, the connector would have been better if it actually had the click in connections like the old chargers do instead of the simple slide in an out one that they currently have. The reason why this is a 'Major Issue' for me is that if the ipod/iphone/ipad is in your pocket or bag, the slightest movement knocks the connector thus disconnecting the two, turning the audio off and this happens more times than I'd like so to resolve it, I've had to put sticky tape around the bottom off the ipod and over this adapter so that the is no chance of it coming out or loose.
*2... The control of the volume within the ipod/iphone. When the adapter is connected to the device, the volume slider disappears, leaving just the play/pause, skip forward and back buttons. The volume is automatically set to the highest volume so unless you have headphones/earphones that have in-line volume control your pretty much out of luck and deaf.
For those whose ipod/iphone phono connector is broken this is a great way to start listening to your audio again. :D
