The Maxi Micro scooter features all the fun and stability of the Mini Micro Series but has been revamped for the older user. The 3 wheel design allows children aged 6 and up to 'surf' safely on almost any surface using a rear brake for safety. Adjustable t-bar handles can be raised up to a maximum 92cm and provide your child with years of use. A sturdy yet lightweight design ensures that the scooter can be carried and used safely by your child. Maxi Micro Scooters feature a beautiful design with 120mm front and 80mm rear tyres with ABEC 5 bearings that grant the rider a gliding ability on par with most skateboards. Designed for practicality as well as fun, the Scooter comes apart in 2 pieces and can be easily transported or stored when not in use. The Maxi Micro Scooter - Purple is an excellent way to develop balance and co-ordination as well as encourage active play. My daughter has loved riding her mini micro scooter over the last year or two but recently has had a few falls; we decided that she has become too big for it. We looked at various scooters but decided although it is really expensive the maxi micro was the best. She is only 4 but tall for her age. The maxi micro has been a great success, it is an easy transition from the mini micro, the handle bar is height adjustable and despite it's recommendation for 6+ years old, it is a perfect size for her.

Recently purchased for my 4.5 year (the "mini" version, while a little lighter hasn't got the longevity of use this one offers), he loves it and as other post comments, 6+ age I suspect is to encourage parents to wastefully purchase the "mini" (which is fine for 2-4 years in my opinion); zips along with his bicycle helmet on, spends more time outside on the weekend than in now and it's good exercise for him and me trying to keep up.
Extremely stable and very high quality build.
Only negative: More expensive than some alternates, but you try getting one of these secondhand!

Santa brought this scooter for my nearly nine year old daughter for Christmas -she was over the moon and especially as it was a purple colour!
Really good quality and so far worth the rather pricey cost- smooth and fast -great fun but need to wear helmet for safety reasons.

Overpriced, but worth it!! 50kg means it is my daughter's last one!
We bought the little version in blue which my daughter grew out of. It was great. So what else could we do? We got the big purple version. Read more
