Fast and durable, Scalextric 1:64 cars are the best way to use a child small room for slot races. This set has many pieces to have fun with 15 different tracks, and is not so easy to manage power through the curves.

Great fast race track for a small child. Robust and fast. Just don't buy from Jedlamracingmodels. 15% mark up through Amazon and only 91-93% positive feedback, for a reason!

Perfect for a six year old - easy to assemble with adult assistance and great to have 15 different layouts described in the manual with full instructions on how to make them. Cars stay well on track, but will fly off at full throttle - level of difficulty is very suitable for my six year old son as this is his first scalextric track. Cars seem very solid and do not get damaged despite flying frequently off track. Only minor issue is that overtaking often leads to crashes if overtaking in a turn as the two cars are wide and slide out a bit in fast turns. Bought an additional car - a streetcar shaped one - and that is less wide and easier to overtake.

Very happy with this. the multiple track options is great for my son as he likes building different tracks as much as he likes racing on it. The price was very reasonable.
