Could someone who has purchased a 32 GB micro SD card please point me in the right direction of a legitimate seller on amazon, i have come across a few and some of the reviews are very bad, saying sd doesnt work etc, would ideally like one with an adapter so i can easily transfer files from laptop to the tablet etc
I had to download SD formatter to allow me to format this to NTFS (I wanted to add mkv files onto it which I couldn't do on FAT32 due to their size). Once I formatted the card it worked perfectly with the tablet.
Hi, I decided to post on this topic as it is a similar topic.
Sorry - I am computer illiterate. I have inserted my micro SD card, but it doesnt click into place on the tablet - is this normal? Also, I am unsure how to move the files on the tablet so they are stored on the SD card?
It should click into place, you may need to use your nail to push it in far enough. Once inserted correctly it should appear under /mnt/extsd in file manager (second tab in file manager screen).
If it's not clicking in and nothing is appearing in the /mnt/extsd then sounds like a problem with the card or slot. If you manage to get it mounted (a message should appear on tablet telling you it has been mounted) then copying files into /mnt/extsd will move it onto your sd card.
On the matter of micro sd cards how do you set the tablet to save a download to the card and not the internal memory, failing being able to do this im assuming that when inserted it will download and save to the card should the internal memory be full. would this be right?
