Although the connector looks fine I can't get it to go into my HTC micro USB port, so it must be slightly different to the original charge cable and my Nokia Cable both work fine.

Unfortunately, this item doesn't connect very well to my HTC Legend; it only charges if I wriggle it about a bit and then very carefully leave it in the position where it does make contact... Not good enough, so it's going to be replaced!

I bought two of these cables from discountextras. I immediately noticed that the wires are much thinner than other USB cables. Despite it being advertised for the HD2, neither of them worked with the HD2 - it did not recognise being connected to the PC and it would not even charge. On removing it from my HD2, I noticed that the metal part of the micro USB socket could be pushed in and out of the black plastic cover, the same with the wire. In other words, the metal plug and wire connection was loose inside the cover. The same applied to the second cable. The issue appears to be with the cables; other cables from discountextras were good.
