Product Description

Are you heading to Disney and can’t decide which Walt Disney World Dining Plan you should choose?

Are you considering Disney’s Quick Service Dining Plan?

Do you wonder if you’ll be able to have variety in your meals eating “amusement park food” for an entire week?

I was worried too! In fact, I was downright paranoid. After I did my research and chose the Quick Service plan, a crazy little idea came to me. I decided I would take pictures of everything our family of five ate on a 7 day/6 night Disney World Vacation. That way, I could provide others with the (visual) information I wished I could find!

And that's what this e-book is! It's a pictorial food diary for our trip. You can see for yourself what one totally normal (ish) family ate on their Disney vacation.

I also include our thoughts on the food, how we sort-of-randomly-sort-of-not-randomly chose where we would eat each day, and tips for your trip to Disney.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant! Useful and funny 6 Sep 2013
By J Viner
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
From the title I thought this sounded like a crazy book but it is brilliant. Having used the dining plan, I totally agree with the comments here. We had a very similar experience and I wish I could have read this first. Worrying about whether the credits would last left us with buying bags of sweet snacks to take home. The best thing about this book is how it is written. Loads of laugh out loud writing, really funny author. My family loved the bits I read out and it was great to remember yummy food from our trip. I read the whole book in one evening but it is definitely a book you can keep going back to. Great value too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Helpful if you are going to Disney 13 Jun 2013

I thought this book was helpful if you are going to Disney and not sure which food plan to choose. This plan was more of an eat and go and not so much sitting down because the author and her family went to Disney to have fun!

I love the pictures! She shows what each family member got each day. You can see what the food looks like and what she got in portion size.

The author had an older food plan and it has since changed which she notes in the book.

I was disturbed how unhealthy almost all the meals she chose were. It was a lot of carbs and fried foods.

Personally, I'm curious how Disney would deal with food allergies, but this book didn't claim to offer that. It's for your family who can eat everything.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting read 13 Jun 2013

I am a Disney fanatic and my family has been numerous times. We have never done the dining plan and I was curious where it could be used. It gives some great ideas but never lists all the places one could eat in each park...which would have been helpful.

4.0 out of 5 stars A first-timer Dining Plan primer 5 Nov 2013
By Natalie Keller Reinert - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition
Warning: This book doesn't apply to the current Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan. That being said..

If you're going to use the Quick-Service Dining Plan, presumably because it's being offered to you free as part of a Free Dining Promotion, it's a nice little first-timer primer on how to use the dining plan, and how not to use the dining plan. Yes, there are many blog posts on the subject, but sometimes it's nicer to read in a book-format. So if you're not sure about the dining plan, this might help.

The difference today is that you only receive on snack credit, as opposed to two. The days of bringing home suitcases full of Mickey rice-krispy treats because you had left-over snack credits coming out of your ears have passed into memory.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice info to have 6 Feb 2014

Nice to see how somebody else navigates the minefield that is dining out at Disney. We haven't tested out the ideas presented here, but it seems like it really would be helpful to look throughout when planning a trip.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not Bad 26 July 2013

Its informative. Not the best written ebook on Disney or Dining there. Slightly out dated, as the author mentions, because the quick service plan has changed.
