Mick Brown is a realistic angler and it is this side of his personality that shines through in this pike fishing journey. Not everyone is going to throw the line at the water and pull out a pike first time and Mick knows that. With his helpful advice and humerous anecdotes he makes the mighty pike accessible for all. I have not done much fishing in my time but Mick makes you want to grab a rod and go out in all weathers to catch this elusive beast of the British waters! And with Micks common sense advice you may even land a beastie or two! A lot of fishing DVDs are vehicles for the presenters, Mick prefers to let the fishing show through which is what is often lacking. I am thoroughly impressed with this DVD and would reccomend it to Anglers of all ages and abilities. C'mon get Micks DVD and go get that pike!!

I purchased this DVD thinking that it was a newish Mick Brown DVD since it had 2007 in the description, how wrong was I. This is one of Mick Brown's earlier fishing videos before he went to work for Fox, so I would say it was early 90's at best. It is still a good DVD to watch, but the title is misleading to say the least.

Pick this up only because it cost around £3. It has some good tips but in general it vey boring and its fairly old. If you never watch this you probably not missing out on much. The Fox Lure Guide with Mick Brown is probably better.

Mike Brown on Pike Fishing - DVD
Short and to the point. Gives good tips on fishing and rig preparation. This DVD is very good value for the money spent on it.

a good value dvd but sadly little or nothing on lure fishing. excellent for those fishing with dead baits though.

same old, same old

Good Advice
This is a Good DVD with valuable advice. I have given it 5 stars cos I like Mick Brown and his methods. On the down side the DVD is too short and not very entertaining. Read more
