Whilst the size and content is fine for 'trip planning' purposes, the paper used is poor quality. It ripped on the second time of use. I'm actually going on the trip to Northern Spain that I bought the map for in a couple of weeks. I'll now have to buy a replacement before departing. I won't be buying another Michelin map in future.

A map's just a map right, but Michelin maps are just that little bit better than most.
I use these maps a lot for motorcycle touring and they are full of dertailed information. I particularly like the green markings on scenic routes. This makes route planning a little easier and more effective.
When I take the route from the Michelin map and enter it into my GPSR I can avoid some of the tedium of motorway riding and the expense of tolls if I need to.
They still blow round in the wind and get soggy when they get wet, but they are just a map after all.
