Excellent local information for travellers/holiday makers. 28 Feb 2000

Format:Paperback

Details of tours and sights to see by foot, car or train. Information on what to see, how to see it and at what time places of interest are open, and any charges you may incur. Local history, geography, art and culinary traditions explained and given meaning. This guide proved a great help when touring the old city of Lyon(Vieux Lyon)on foot and in the exploration of the Traboules(court yards). A fascinating discovery! Links with Lyons past trade in silk were discovered, using this guide, together with the fascinating 'painted Walls'. A must for any traveller to this region.
