This is the first story I've read by Paul Christopher and I must say I was in no way disappointed. I liked the subject matter of the Vatican and it's role in WWII. The action rattles along in a satisfying manner and there is an equally satisfying body count.
The book was published in 2005 and should be more popular, I can't understand why nobody has reviewed it.
I have purchased but as yet not read the next two books in the series but if they are to this standard I will be well pleased.
Mr. Christopher doesn't need the over used comparison but, if you like "Brownesque" stories you'll enjoy this one.

I know why this book hasn't been reviewed much in the past,It is because it is not very good,plain and simple.
There is no action,no plot to speak of,far too many characters and it jumps from the past to the present far too frequently to follow.
By all means buy it but you'll read it and think life is too short for dribble like this!
