Amazon Verified Purchase
The speaker here is not Michel Thomas but the content is derived from his method. It starts with hints on how to stretch one's vocabulary by turning English words into similar French words and then runs through a huge number of expressions and words. There are no students on this as there are on the Michel Thomas discs - which I found a relief. You learn a lot but in a slightly monotonous way.

Sealed box yet no course booklet (referred to in DVDs) so a bit disappointed
With language courses you need all the help you can get!
E-mailed Amazon and although not their fault a discount immediately credited
Course itself OK, following the M Thomas method although I find the (male) french "student" incredibly fast, slurring words together and often incomprehensible (much like French heard in the street! so possibly a good thing)
If it wasn't for the contant repetition of the "teacher" it would be almost impossible to follow
