Inspirational 25 May 2004
By Greg J
Format:Hardcover
The story of Michael Watson is a well documented one. Left for dead after a brutal fight against Chris Eubank - not to mention the errors of the British Boxing Board of Control - Watson embarked on an incredible rehabilitation process which defied medical science. Reading this book is a humbling experience as you encounter Watson's dignity, faith and courage with every turn of a new page. Michael Watson is an inspitational man and this book is essential reading for anyone interested in the inextinguishable flame of the human spirit.

Michael Watson 23 May 2004
By A Customer
Format:Hardcover
The delayed biography of Michael Watson, was well worth the wait.
An inspirational read of how someone can overcome great diffulties and not be bitter about your fate.
The first half of the book covers his childhood and his boxing career, while the second half details his battle to recover from the terrible injuries substained in his second battle with Chris Eubank.

It is a good read not only for those who know his life story but for people who aren't interested in boxing, just to learn how a strong mind coupled with determination can overcome whatever life puts in front of you.

Michael Watson's story is a touching book. It's very inspiring to read how someone can overcome such a tragedy and make the best of his situation by staying positive, keep faith, and fight on step by step. This not a book for fight fans only but for everyone who wants to read an amazing story. Michael Watson has made a deep impression on me, i have a lot of respect for this man.
