James Aldis is a huge fan of Michael Jackson, having followed him ever since first being given a copy of 'Thriller' at the age of eight. He lives in London with his partner and was among the many fans to have bought tickets for his hero's 02 arena performances. Despite twenty years of trying, he is still unable to moonwalk like his hero. This is his first book.

I am a huge fan of Michael Jackson and have various books about him. I just wanted a kind of 'coffee table' book, one which you could pick up and glance at and just remember the different eras of this iconic man. This did just the trick. Lovely pictures, some of which I haven't seen before. A good balance between the pictures and the written word. This is definitely a tribute book in all sense of the word and I think one which has done Michael proud. It is just the right size too, not too cumbersome! I would recommend this book - even my three and four year old love looking at the pictures with me...a new generation of MJ fan's! A fitting tribute.

This is a nice tribute to Michael. It has a wealth of photos of him throughout his life and details of his many achievements. Lots of nice things his friends have said about him and some quotes from Mike himself. If you are a dedicated fan or just love his music, I think you will like this book. I recommend it.

He's everywhere, he still fill's the tabloid's, he had talent like no other, he's on your tv screen. You can't miss Michael Jackson, it's impossible, even the kid's in Africa know him.

However, what was behind the image? Who was the real man? This book show's a life that couldn't be lived by anyone else. They'll never be a Michael Jackson again. When the news of the late Michael's passing came knocking on my door, I knew the whole world was crying as well as I.

Michael Jackson, was a family man, he loved children, but not in the way the media made it look. It's coincidentally funny how now the press who once loathed him are now turning their back's toward him, in respect so that they can make extra money for their own selfish self's by exclaiming what a wonderful man he was. It's fake.

What is in this book though is a handsome glimpse into the lifestyle and many achievment's of the 13-time Grammy award winner. God bless you Michael! Your in peace now! The lord smiled on you and now you are with him.

This is James Aldis first book and I think he's done a good job. The book contains the basic history of Michael Jackson's life and a career chronology, it is quite respectful, and there are tributes from other celebrities. There many photo's and as a Michael Jackson fan I am pleased I purchased this book.

This is a very nice coffee table book with lots of great pictures and tributes. I was expecting more of a biography style but not disappointed, I have other biographies, this is a nice alternative and with Michael a picture is worth a thousand words.

I am very pleased with this book. Awesome pictures and pretty accurate information (for example, some of the books published here in the US are not accurate about the number of Michael's each album sold and etc, which I think they are doing it intentionally to belittle his incomparable accomplishments). An excellent tribute to the one and only Michael Jackson!

Very happy to own this book.
Not so much new information but it does capture all aspects of his life and in a sober way.If for anything else buy it for the pictures, its filled with it. Love the drawing of how to moonwalk....maybe I should give it try after all these years?
