Product Description

Product Description

This is now available in paperback! This is the inside story of the truth behind the rumours, ugliness and mystery surrounding Michael Jackson. Was Jackson just a confused person who got too much fame too soon or was he a cold and calculating villain who would stop at nothing to have his bizarre appetites satisfied? Now you can read about it for the first time from the man who knows everything! The author, Bob Jones, is not a journalist conducting interviews but somebody who has known and been with Jackson for 34 years as his chief of Public Relations; by his side since Michael was 11 years old. Bob Jones is the one person with this unique inside view of Michael Jackson's world. To a certain degree, Bob Jones created Michael Jackson. He created his image. For example, Bob Jones created Michael Jackson's famous nickname 'The King of Pop'. This book is explosive and will make any other book about Michael Jackson instantly forgotten. You won't find this inside information anywhere else.

I think that one sentence sums up this book perfectly - don't waste your money! It really is that bad... An inarticulate, negatively biased book written by a disgruntled ex-employee of Michael Jackson. I hope it was worth it for Bob because it sure isn't for any reader! Trust me - you really don't want to send any royalties to the author for this one!

I was terribly disappointed by this book. Anyone wanting to glimpse "behind the mask" of the man they call Jacko is going to feel the same. Because Bob Jones, who co-wrote this book, had worked for Michael Jackson for so long, you would expect him to offer a real insight into a man who stubbornly defies definition.

But instead, we get a series of unconnected anecdotes, with nothing to make us believe that any of this actually happened, or even WHEN it happened. And the Bob Jones who narrates this book comes across as petulant and upset with Jackson as a former boss.

Anyone doing an internet search can discover that Jones was fired by Jackson in the last year or two, and this knowledge simply enforces the impression that this book is a serious case of sour grapes and offers not the slightest insight into one of the most enigmatic personalities of our ages.

So, in a way, it simply adds to the enigma that is Michael Jackson. But if you want to actually learn anything about him, this is NOT the book for you.

Bob Jones twists things to make them seem not what they really were. He offers no decent insights or revelations.

Bob Jones has done his best here to paint jackson as dark as he can, yet at the end of the book I felt that Bob Jones was the nasty one, not Jackson.

The books a waste of time really. Just someone with an axe to grind with no evidence or justification for his twisted opinions.
