Michael Harling

Michael Harling grew up Kinderhook, New York. Several years ago--and through no fault of his own--he found himself living in Britain. Clearly ill-adapted for life in a foreign land, he began chronicling his misadventures on his blog "Postcards From Across the Pond," which became the basis for his books.

Michael currently lives in Sussex with his British wife, where he continues to write about life among the English, sort of like Bill Bryson but without the best selling books and gobs of money.
