No better book to start studying Light & Color in photography 1 Nov. 2012
By JD - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Paperback
The high costs of traditional photography made me sell my camera a long while ago. When the digital revolution started, I bought a Canon EOS 350D (was it in 2006?) and started shooting again. And this time I decided to do a little learning on my own.

This is the first book on photography I bought in years, shortly after getting my first digital DSRL. It was an eye opener. Combined with the digital camera, this book made studying the theory of light and colors something not only easy, but fun altogether. It is very well written and conceived. Examples are very well chosen. I still pick it up very often, and it still is very fresh. In fact, I bought many other Michael Freeman books because of this, and no matter how good they may be I always miss on them the clarity of purpose, the method and the accuracy of examples found on this one.

Enthusiastically recommended.
