Mathew Gives a very honest and interesting account of Michael Caine's career. I found it to be very informative and can't wait for his next book.

When I picked up Michael Caine: You're a Big Man I was amazed that Mr Field brought something new to the table. Isn't everybody fed up of reading about how hard done by Mr Micklewhite once was, and then being told 'Not a lotta people know that.'?
This book concentrates on his films and showcases what a wonderful actor Sir Michael really is. The tome documents each film year by year, and is ilustrated with a host of lush colour and black and white photos. The text is loaded with anecdotes from the his co-stars, directors and from the man himself.
Sir Michael Caine obviouisly likes it - he wrote the foreword.
Buy it know it will blow you're bloody doors off!!!

i've always known that Michael Caine did films Like The Italian Job, Zulu, and Get Carter, but i didnt know he's done as may films as this book portrays.
Mr Field has compiled a concise yet extreamly informative book about everyone of Michael Caine's films. The book explains what the films are about and what was thought of them. It has some great quotes from the films, the Directors and from the man himself. There are also some fabulous pictures both in black & white and in colour.
so i recommend getting this book, If Sir Michael Caine likes it enough to write to forward who are we to argue!
So dont forget to order your copy before you leave the page!

Being a big fan of Michael Caine and having purchased a lot of his books before thought this was going to be no different, boy was I wrong!!!. This book was full of information about all his films that he has done in his life. The book has been extremely well written and well researched by Mr Field. I seriously recommend it to anyone.
This book would make an ideal xmas present for fans of Michael Caine!!
