5.0 out of 5 stars Potty for Bentine's Classic Kids TV Show ! 13 Feb 2007
By Davel
Format:DVD
As a child I thought this series was fantastic ! And watching these gems today I am pleased to say that they are still absolute quality ! Bentine's Goon humour is in full swing and this is entertaining to kids and adults - even by today's standards. Bentine writes and voices the Pottys and you can hear echoes of those early Goon Shows. Even the old Thames TV jingle at the start of each show brings back memories of ITV in better days !

Please Amazon - tell them to produce more of Bentine's Potty little classics !

4.0 out of 5 stars Great but not quite my favorite series 25 Feb 2004
Format:DVD
Thought I was getting the series with the "invisible characters" but that wasn't in the first series.
So was slightly dissapointed, until I watched them, with my son who loves them now as well.
Can't for the other six series to come out.

5.0 out of 5 stars my dad 10 Dec 2007
Format:DVD
my dad is Leon Thau who directed and produced all the potty series. We would spend every Sunday over at Uncle Michaels house while the two of them sat and had a meeting about the following weeks recordings. Uncle Michael was my godfather and the most fantastic man you could ever wish to meet and the kindest. My children are now watching this dvd and it is a joy to see there faces. Hurry up and get the rest. I have potty time books that are signed to me absolutely priceless!.

5.0 out of 5 stars Michael Bentines Potty Time - Series 1
Bentine [ a former Goon] was always inventive & his "Potties" are just one example. For fans of his 50s creation, "The Bumblies", there are 2 episodes as a bonus.

2.0 out of 5 stars Great but not quite my favorite series
Anyone who remembers this show from 1973-74 will love it.
