Certainly far from the worst book I've ever read, but still this book bored me to the point that I was skipping entire paragraphs - Something I don't do when devouring a book unless it disappoints. It is a typical Mills&Boon novel, it's been done a thousand times. I say that as someone who has enjoyedc their odd book here and there.

Mia is annoying, Nikos is an arrogant arse. There was very little to like about him until the end, and I thought Mia was rather a doormat towards that ending too. Not a book I'd recommend to anyone, even whilst it's free.

this was a freebie of which i was glad, it centres around 2 very wealthy individuals which its obvious will get together not many other characters in this, lacked depth of a good read for me, yes its a romance but lack of substance means i wont be getting another in this line of books

Typical M&B romance.
The appealing arrogant macho male seducing the insecure attractive female...
A few chapters on how Mia's father and sisters reacted to finding out about her would have been nice.
Surely some sort of social life outside the office and apartment could have been thrown in since she did have 8 sisters.
As someone else has said the cover looks nothing like how the characters are described.
As titled its not amazing nore is it deadful.
Easy very short read and its free.

I read this book in 2 days, okay I am off work at the moment but I still wanted to keep reading to see what happened. Its not a riveting read but it is nice and easy and I would definately recommend this book ideal for reading on the beach.

Hadn't realised this was a Mills and Boon title when I ordered it - if I had, I wouldn't have bothered.

Totally predictable and very samey in the traditional style of Mills and Boon - dozey clueless woman who just can't "resist" the magnetic animal charm of the leading male, who, rather predictably is rich and built like a Greek God - no pun intended there given Nikos is actually Greek. I was about 3 pages into it before I recognised the standard M&B style but, unfortunately for me, once I've started something I have to finish it. I couldn't wait to finish it - not because it held me captive, but simply because I couldn't wait to get it over and done with.

Boring, inane romantic drivel - totally unrealistic.

After reading the mixed reviews I got this book mainly because it was free, also it is part of a series so I knew if I liked it I would download the rest. It started promisingly but then unfortunately it just faded away. Whilst the story was a predictable M & B format I found it so boring in places I like other readers was skipping chunks of it. If you like your heroine to be independant, spunky and confident dont bother with this, there is nothing I hate more than a heroine who is so timid and shy that they struggle to speak at all, the phrase "doormat" has been used and I agree. Whats the fun in a story thats so onesided. I am not tempted to pay for any further books by this author but would consider a free one again to see if this was just a one off or if all her heroines are so boring.
