Tattooing brought them together, their art sets them apart! As seen on prime-time Discovery, Miami Ink follows four close friends and the customers that visit their fashionable tattoo parlour. In this series Yogi finally earns the right to start tattooing professionally, but is still the butt of all the shop jokes and there is one initiation he must still face if he is to win his machines. Much to Ami s annoyance Nunez is still spending money unwisely , and is now the owner of a large black S.U.V. with 26 rims. Is he compensating for something? Little Darren Brass is nervous, could he be expecting the pitter-patter of tiny feet? Kat is homesick, missing the attractions of L.A. and annoyed that everyone seems to be ignoring her. Will a visit from her favourite tattoo artist be enough to persuade her to stay and give Miami another go? About the Actor
Ami James, the former soldier and keep-fit fanatic, the leader of this motley crew of respected artists. Chris Nunez, Ami s ever flirtatious business partner who keeps the party going. The five foot wonder, he might be small but he s got a lot of heart, Darren Brass. The guy who taught Ami everything he knows, Chris Garver. Yoji Harada, the ever-loyal apprentice, sweeping the floor and putting up with the endless hazing , just for the chance to learn from the very best. And all the way from L.A. the newest member of the crew, Kat Von D. She is known by her closest friends to be one of the biggest party animals east of the Mississippi so will keep Nunez on his toes.

I have been watching Miami ink for about 3 months now, they actually got me to get my first tattoo at 44 years old!! If you are into this sort of thing you will be very pleased with this, I almost feel I know the cast personally, some of the stories that people come into the shop with are heartbreaking and getting a tattoo seems to help them so much. I bought this DVD last week and I have watched all the episodes already, plus there are some interviews with the cast as well, I thouroghly enjoyed this purchase and will be looking at getting season one and three.

If you love tattoos, this is the perfect way to spend the day. The trouble is, it just leaves you wanting more... more news of the cast, more tattoos! After watching this, you really feel like you know the cast and care about them and their lives. We are all addicted in our household. We have series one and two and are now looking forward to three! Highly recommended.

Just want to let you all Miami Ink fans that this Series 2 is incomplete. Im not sure how many episodes they show you in the UK, but in the US there are about 30 episodes where as this DVD set which they claim is a complete season has ONLY 19 episodes. So consider when your buying.

Tattoos
The boys are back for a second series with more tattooing, some fighting (mostly verbal) and lots of sob stories. If you love tattoos this show is for you.
