I bought this to take on holidays as I usually take DVDs plus portable player but they weigh too much. I was initially disappointed as the description claims you can attach your classic iPod directly. You can't. I had to buy a lead which cost an extra £24.00. I could plug in my IPhone 3.
However when I had sorted it out I was impressed with the quality of the Projected image. I went upto the maximum and it was like having your own private cinema. I attached a portable speaker to enhance the sound level, I did expect to do this so it wasn't a problem. My only criticism was the customer service from Mili they never answered emails when I was trying to locate the lead for the IPod. I am-planning to use the projector in a forth coming play as I can hide it on set and use is to project the face of Marleys Ghost.

This projector is ideal for use around the house and for small gatherings but we needed it to present a presentation and the picture was not too clear when you enlarged the size. We purchased this projector to use with an iPad 2 but we could not get our presentation to play on it. Extremely disappointing that the instructions were very unclear and this lead to us having the send it back for a refund as we could not get our iPad 2 to play on the device.

The projector works just as described, with instant plug-and-play setup. Sometimes an iDevice will say that it is incompatible when connected with this projector. This can be remedied by rebooting the device.
Although the display is VGA resolution, it's actually quite clear even when projected to 70" image size. You have to be in a fairly dark room though as the projection is not very bright at 10 ANSI lumens. Sometimes colour is a bit off, but there are on-board settings that can be used to tweak this. The device itself is very small and compact, perfect for trips abroad where you want to share photographs or videos to your family/friends. With some supported devices/apps, you can even mirror the app display and project a presentation or game. (for unsupported devices, there are jailbreak methods to do this)
A novel use for this, as I'm sure some have tried, is to project images on the ceiling and watch them in bed. I found this quite fun.
Overall, a good product with few minor flaws at a reasonable price. Perfect gift for gadget enthusiasts.
