Manufacturer's Description
This tea is produced in Fujian Province and contains leaf buds as well as the first two leaves of the tea shoot. White teas are made by simply drying the freshly harvested leaves and leaf buds. The liquor is the colour of white wine and the flavour and aroma are reminiscent of honey and white fruits. Less well known then other types of tea, white tea is packed with up to 3 times more antioxidants. It is described as a distinguished cup of tea. The leaves are only harvested for a short period in spring and dried in natural sunlight to maintain more of their antioxidant properties.
