I can highly recommend this stockpot. It has a huge capacity, great heat distribution, really impressive non-stick qualities and is surprisingly light to handle.

I got this stock pot as part of the Anolon Prof. set. I had it for over a year and it hasn't failed me yet. I have made countless amount of soup/stock in this and each time it washes up beautifully. I even managed to burn my lentil soup at one occassion (my stepson was taking over the world and I had to stop him!), and the burnt lentil came off the pot too easily :D. The volume is just purely heaven, I manage to fit a turkey cascass (broke into pieces of course) including the wings and extra root vegetables to make a lovely stock.

The stockpot seems to retain heat very well (must be some high tech hard anodised theory behind this), I can leave the stockpot on very low fire (on the smallest gas ring) and the soup can still simmer away for two hours.

However, even though the inside is non stick and apparently metal utensil friendly (I didn't dare to test this out as I have plenty of wooden utensils), the outside does stains. I have quite a few stain marks on the outside of the pot (probably burnt mark when the soup overflow initially), but the inside is immaculate and still an amazing pot.

Definitely recommend this stockpot if you enjoy making a big massive pot of soup (easily feeds 15 people as a lentil soup starter and about 10 to 12 hearty scotch broth for lunch).
