The book is good in terms of pictures and layout, the delivery was good, but my general feeling is that the recipes have about six ingredients: tomatoes, chili, sweetcorn, avocado, beans and tortillas. In almost every single recipe. I'm sure that Mexicans have a far more diverse range of ingredients. It doesn't even tell me how to make a basic Mexican spice mix. The one recipe we use a lot is Huevos Rancheros; otherwise think of your local greasy Tex Mex restaurant and you have all the recipes there. I was disappointed, especially as I'd bought the Australian Women's Weekly Moroccan at the same time and it is so very much better.
