My version of this receiver has an insensitive tuner and indicates about 20% less signal than other receivers connected to the same dish. The menus work differently to the description in the handbook and are slow and cumbersome to use. Response to the remote is very slow and unreliable. Little backup is available from the manufacturer. In my view a poorly performing receiver.

I returned the receiver because I could only record to my video in black and white. I would definitely have kept the receiver if it had not been for this. The set up was very simple and it found all the FTA channels first time with out any fiddling about,much better than previous satellite receivers I have used. I would recommend this to anybody who doesn't need to connect this to an old temperamental video recorder.
