Good diverse book 10 Jan 2007
Format:Paperback
I'm a freelance drama teacher who sometimes struggles to find work for a range of pupils, of varying abilities. This book has been excellent; there are pieces in it to suit many different age groups and each piece has its own particular merits and discussion points. If you can get hold of two copies, as I have done - then you can use it as a regular feature of lessons. Getting youngsters to learn and perform pieces as though it were an audition. For those of you who provide LAMDA or Trinity training in duologue work then this book will be an excellent resource for the non-set texts. A worthwhile investment.

Excellent collection 21 Feb 2011
By Steph
Format:Paperback
I work with a youth group from around 12 to 16 years old.
Was struggling to find pieces for them all to work from and wanted to find a way of introducing kids to new styles of theatre and writers. This book has been a god send. A great variety of scenes, characters and writers. Had a couple of incidents of kids pointing out some 'naughty' words, but nothing that seems to have been the end of the world and they've responded brilliantly.

Would thoroughly reccomend.
